In 2008, his production became more regular and, in 2009, his work was exhibited for the first time under the pseudonym “Newjoecool.” Since then, his artwork has been shown at fairs and exhibitions, featuring themes and concepts that change over time. His paintings produced under the name Pierre Bouchard are a combination of his practices, drawing inspiration from advertising, drawing, graffiti and traditional painting, with a focus on themes that resonate with him.

Some know him by another name, his alter ego “Newjoecool,” a character who gives children's workshops in Quebec, Nunavik and Haiti. He also has a collection of artwork produced under this pseudonym.
